Grace Lynn Underwood, age 58 of Alvin, Texas passed away peacefully on Friday, December 11, 2015.  Grace was born September 3, 1957 in Bryan, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for 42 years.  She attended Manvel Bible Chapel and Fellowship Bible Church and will be dearly missed by all that knew her. Grace took great pride in her family and was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She is preceded in death by her father, Horace Weaver.

Grace is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Richard Underwood; daughters, Kathrine Richardson and husband Christopher, Tomee McKinnon and husband Ty; son, John Underwood and wife Courtney; mother, Leona Weaver; sisters, Judy Wehe and husband Nolan, Jeanette Cavanaugh and husband David; brothers, Sherman Weaver and wife Cheryl, Lance Weaver and wife Sue, Joey Weaver and wife Tracy, Shawn Weaver and wife Caprice; grandchildren, Dylan Richardson, Jaxen Richardson, Faith Underwood and Wesley Underwood; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Grace had a passion for sharing the gospel message of salvation with others, especially children. She led Vacation Bible School and AWANA programs for over 12 years at both Manvel Bible Chapel and Fellowship Bible Church, and volunteered for 10 years at Sandy Creek Bible Camp. Grace was also active in the Parent Teacher Organization at Hood-Case Elementary and Harby Junior High School.
