Cheryl Janice (Mears) Silvers, age 56 of Alvin, Texas passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Webster, Texas. Cheryl was born on July 13, 1957 in La Marque, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Ruby Mears.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, of 23 years, Jimmie Silvers, daughter, Patricia Martinez and husband, Jose, sons, Dennis Hopkins and wife, Angela, Jimmie Silvers, Jr. and wife, Terri, sister, Darlene Powell, 9 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, numerous other relatives and friends.
