Deborah Ann Davenport, age 52, of Texas City passed away on September 18, 2009 in Houston. Deborah was born on October 1, 1956 in Portsmouth, Virginia to parents, S.H. and Shirley (Fanestiel) Price. Deborah moved to Alvin with her family in 1962. She was a member of Alvin Missionary Baptist Church. Deborah taught at Alvin High School and was involved in the Close-Up Program. She enjoyed reading and  singing, especially in the choir at her church. She loved her animals, but spending time with her nieces was her greatest passion. Deborah married Steven Douglas Davenport on August 12, 1992 in Hagarstown, Maryland. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Alton Bernard Price, Gladys Ruth Price, Jacob Ferdinand Fanestiel and Clara Catherine Fanestiel; uncles: Gerald Dean Fanestiel and Jim Havens; aunt: Mary Nan Fanestiel; and cousin: Tony Price.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Steven Douglas Davenport of Texas City; parents: S.H. and Shirley Price of Alvin; brother: Stuart Price and wife Judy of Port Neches; sister: Deana Dawson and husband Jerry of Foreman, Arkansas; sister- in-law: Marjorie Hall and husband Ronnie of Hull, Texas; brother-in-law Mark Davenport and wife Deborah of Vail, Arizona; nieces: Tara Bachelor, Kimberly Donaldson, Krystalynn Dawson, Ashley Price, Taylor Price, Krista Strouse and Meghan Davenport; and nephews: Ricky Hall, Mark Davenport, Jr. and Michael Davenport. She is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
