Linda Jeanne Barajas, age 54, of Alvin, Texas passed away Thursday, February 18, 2010 at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Webster, Texas. Linda was born on October 28, 1955 in Alvin, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. She was a custodian for Alvin Independent School District and a member of the Pentecostal faith. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Donato and Inez Barajas; and sister, Rachael Barajas.

Linda is survived by her sisters: Sara Ramirez and husband, Frank of Houston, Texas, Rosa Perez and husband, Francisco, Mary Pina and husband, Amado, and Lou Ann Amador and husband, Rudy, all of Alvin, Texas; brothers: Moses Barajas and Josie Morris of Rosharon, Texas, Donato Barajas, Jr. and wife, Sara of Friendswood, Texas, David Barajas and wife, Gloria, Elias Barajas, Tim Barajas, Tony Barajas and wife, Bea, Mark Barajas and wife, Mildred, and John Barajas, all of Alvin, Texas; foster brother, Leo Perez of Houston, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday, February 19, 2010 at Scott Funeral Home. The prayer service was held at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Scott Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Frank Barajas Ramirez officiating. Interment followed at the City of Alvin Oak Park Cemetery, Alvin, Texas.

Pallbearers were Leroy Barajas, Rene Barajas, Chris Barajas, Gabriel Barajas, Don Perez, Anthony Barajas, Rudy R. Amador and Tony Barajas, Jr.
