Todd Neighbors

Osage County News Service – October 14, 2003 – Todd Alan Neighbors, 46, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2003 in the Saint Francis Hospital, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Todd was born March 3, 1957 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, the son of Dale G. and Barbara (Milligan) Neighbors. The family moved to Texas where Todd attended schools in Alvin and also attended Alvin Community College, where he became a welder, the went to work for Phillips Petroleum Company. Following open-heart surgery and being unable to return to work, Todd returned to make his home in Pawhuska. Todd married Lavern (Gardner) Goodwin on August 17, 1991, in Alvin, Texas and moved his new family to his grandparents home at 712 East Seventh Street in Pawhuska. Todd was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved to raise Bantam chickens.

Survivors include: His wife, Lavern Neighbors of the home; a son, Bobby E. Neighbors of the home; step children, Mack, Cindy and Latisha; his parents, Dale and Barbara Neighbors; a brother, Roger Neighbors of Alvin, Texas; his grandmothers Mae Milligan of Pawhuska and Edna Hull of Angleton, Texas; seven grandchildren, Daniel, Jonathan, Ashley, Tyler, Matthew, Mickey and Dayton; aunts, Pat Milligan and Juanita Neighbors of Pawhuska, Alice Neighbors of Hominy, Oklahoma, and Evelyn Williams of Fort Smith, Arkansas; an uncle, Carl Milligan of Oklahoma City; a niece, Stacey Phillips of Alvin, Texas, and a host of cousins and other family and friends. Todd was preceded in death by a step daughter, Joannie Goodwin.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 17, in the First Baptist Church, Pawhuska with Reverend Tracy Jines officiating. Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery.
