Valda R. Langham-McNeil, age 59 of Alvin, Texas passed away Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center, Webster, Texas. Valda was born on July 14, 1957 in Houston, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for 2 years. She was a registered nurse and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Valda was preceded in death by her father, Charles Langham.

Valda is survived by her husband, Charles McNeil, mother, Lois Langham, daughters, Alexis Pettway and husband, Jimmie, Tiffany McNeil, sons, Gregory McNeil, Sr. and wife, Tiffaney, Anthony McNeil, brother, Charles Langham, Jr., 7 grandchildren, Jaden, Jordyn, Chloe and Kyndall Pettway, Zander, Gregory, Jr. and Taylor McNeil., son-in-law, Jimmie Pettway and Tiffany, numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. Friday, August 5, 2016 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at Pilgrims Baptist Church, 572 CR 42, Sandy Pointe, Texas. Interment will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery, Sandy Pointe, Texas.
